Style

Your wedding pictures are the memories of your day that will last the rest of your life, and as such there are certain things that need to be taken into account.

You must make sure that you are comfortable with your chosen photographer, that you work well together and enjoy each other’s company as you will be spending a lot of your day together. This is why the pre wedding shoot has become such an important element of modern wedding photography. Now you have the opportunity of being photographed before your wedding day, enabling you to get accustomed to being photographed and to get to know the style and working methods of your photographer.

It is also important to make sure that the style of the photographer fits in with your wedding day. If there is not much time in your day for photo opportunities then a more reportage style might be better for you, where the photographer works away in the background, capturing moments as they happen rather than setting things up.  However, if the wedding photography is a high priority for you then it would be better to create moments to capture.

At Richard Church Photography we provide a mixture of both styles to fit in with what will in essence be a very busy day. Richard spends a lot of his time capturing spontaneous moments that have a beautiful documentary feel to them, recording the day as it happens, but at the same time he creates moments that show the real beauty of the day, giving you a collection of images that you will cherish forever.
